There is a "Manakau Lodge" sign at the driveway entrance. The driveway is fairly long, and has a 90 degree bend to the left about halfway along, take this left-hand bend and drive another 250 m to the end, past a shed and you will see the lodge and carpark straight ahead. There is an accessibility carpark right by the front door.

Directions
From Christchurch and the south: take State Highway 1 north, to Kaikoura. Continue on through Kaikoura towards Blenheim and Picton. 6.5km from the town limit, just after Hapuku School, turn left into Parsons Road (blue sign). Continue on approximately 2km. The entrance driveway to Manakau Lodge is signposted on your right, just after the wooden bus shelter. At the bottom of the driveway, keep left, and you will see the Lodge up ahead of you.
From Picton, Blenheim and the north: take State Highway 1 south. Approaching Kaikoura, the coast road turns sharply inland at Hapuku. After crossing the Hapuku River bridge, continue for approximately 3km and then turn right into Parsons Road (if you see Hapuku School on your left, you have gone too far). Continue on approximately 2km. The entrance driveway to “Manakau Lodge” Hapuku Kaikoura accommodation is signposted on your right, just after the wooden bus shelter. At the bottom of the driveway, keep left, and you will see the Lodge up ahead of you.
